Outdoor Fields

Where does the magic happen? See below!

  • green marker Our home ground in Preston Park.
This is where we play on Wednesdays between April and September, from 6pm until the sun goes down, except for some league games and while the circus and Pride festival take up the park.
The home plate is right next to the A23 speed camera.
The playing diamond will be marked on the grass.
  • green marker The Dyke Road Park field.
This is the 2nd field in Brighton, where we play when the circus or Pride are in town, and where we play some of our league games.
The pitch is behind the tennis courts that you can see from Dyke Road just before you reach the Esso/Tesco garage as you head away from Seven Dials. Follow the path which curves down to the left opposite the Audi Showroom. The 14, 27 and 77 buses all pass that way and there is pay and display parking along the Dyke Road.
As the tennis courts are now in full swing parking may be limited. Parking is limited to 4 hours around the park and is expensive at £3. The Upper Drive (round the corner at Tesco/Esso) used to be free parking. Might be worth checking first to save a few pounds in case it still is free.
  • red markerThe various pubs we may go to after practice.
You’re welcome to come along just for drinks if you miss the practice (but we’ll start to get suspicious
if you do that too often).
